Optometric Assistant

We are seeking a receptionist/technician who will go the extra mile to provide a five star experience guiding patients in their journey throughout their time in the office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing patients with a smooth, efficient, and pleasant experience through a customer service first mentality
  • Doing pretesting workups as directed in training
  • Answering and making outbound phone calls
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Confirming and explaining eligibility of vision and medical benefits
  • Organizing patient charts before patients enter and after they leave
  • Keeping track of contact lens and stock orders
  • Perform insertion and removal trainings for contact lens classes


Requirements:

  • Attributes: honest, trustworthy, team-first mentality, positive, kind, and most importantly: reliable
  • Must be friendly and professional
  • Must be flexible with responsibilities as we are just starting up. Thus, we will need help in various other areas over the first few months.
  • Currently, the schedule is: Monday 9am-6pm, Thursday 11am-7pm, and Friday 9am-4pm, but this is subject to change. Please note that we are currently open three days per week, so this would be considered a part-time job.
